Forging
The process begins with the selection and folding of steel, to balance strength and flexibility.
Hardening
The blade is then quenched, hardening the edge and revealing the iconic hamon.
Polishing
Finally, the blade is hand-polished with natural stones, bringing out its brilliance, sharpness, and soul.

Nothing here is mass-produced. Every katana is forged on demand, based on your selections: blade type, curvature, tsuba design, tsuka color, custom engraving…
Once your order is confirmed, the blade goes through a meticulous process: shaping, folding, heat-treating, polishing, sharpening, and final assembly — all done by hand.
The entire forging process takes 3 to 4 weeks, because quality and tradition require time and precision.
