In FromSoftware's video game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (2019), the Mortal Blade (Fushigiri) is one of the rarest and most legendary weapons: a blade that cuts through the realm of immortality, kept in the Senpou temple among the monks of the Dragon's Heritage. Its intense purple aesthetics, with a colored saya and distinctive tsuba, made it an icon of the game. The Sekiro Purple Mortal Blade Katana reproduces this sacred weapon.

The blade (nagasa of roughly 70 cm) features a violet-bordeaux finish, a rare chromatic treatment: the patina shifts the surface toward the color of the Mortal Blade as seen in the game's cutscenes. The mirror polish captures reflections that recall the weapon's magical in-game appearance.

The mounting takes up the FromSoftware design: a tsuka wrapped in intense purple ito over dark samegawa, a dark alloy tsuba with a stylized skull motif (a reference to the blade's mystical character), a saya lacquered in deep purple with black details, and a lavender-purple sageo.
