Black Blade Katana (1060 Carbon Steel)

I was forged in silence, bathed in shadows and flame. My black blade, crafted from 1060 carbon steel, is razor sharp, a reflection of the night itself. I am hand-forged, my soul drawn long across the whetstone of tradition.

My strength runs deep with a full tang core, bound in a cotton ito wrap over synthetic ray skin, black as obsidian. My tsuba, forged from ferroalloy, stands watch over every strike. The brass habaki locks my power in place—firm, unyielding.

I rest within a lacquered hardwood saya, its surface graced by the carved form of a celestial dragon—guardian of storms, and symbol of power beyond man. A black cotton sageo binds me to the world of discipline, waiting.

Measuring 105 cm in total, with a 72 cm blade, I was not made to shine. I was made to endure, to strike without warning, and to vanish before the echo fades.
