Ghost of Tsushima Katana (T10 Steel)

In Sucker Punch's video game Ghost of Tsushima (2020), Jin Sakai is the last samurai of Tsushima island during the Mongol invasion of 1274. The game, winner of numerous awards (BAFTA Game of the Year, Game of the Year at The Game Awards), won players over with its refined aesthetics inspired by the films of Akira Kurosawa. The Ghost of Tsushima Katana is the replica of Jin Sakai's katana in its base design.

The blade (nagasa of roughly 70 cm) features a uniform polished finish, in line with the weapon's in-game model. The sori curvature is restrained, faithful to the standard katana profile of the samurai era depicted in the game.

The mounting takes up Sucker Punch's design in its standard version: a tsuka wrapped in brown ito over samegawa, a dark alloy tsuba with a traditional motif, a satin-black lacquered saya with red details in the cords, and a copper-colored sageo. Burnished bronze habaki.
