Description
Kanae dies. The viewer knows it, Shinobu knows it, Kanao knows it. The elder sister, the Flower Hashira (Hana no Hashira), is killed by the Upper Moon demon Doma — and her legacy becomes the reason the other two Kocho girls take up the nichirin.
The replica of her blade lives in the melancholy of that memory: a tsuba of stylized orange petals, the flowers of Flower Breathing. Tsuka wrapped in turquoise ito with contrasting red diamonds. Ivory-white saya with red floral motifs like petals scattered in the wind. 1060 steel blade (56-58 HRC), hand-forged. A nichirin that carries the same tragic sweetness as the woman who wielded it.
